Rome Off the Beaten Tracks

  This workshop is for all those who would like to discover the wonder of  ancient Rome  and, like a last century grand tour travelers, keep a self painted memory of it.   We offer an expert licensed archeology tour guide and a certificate painting teacher with an MA achieved  at  the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome to lead you in a personalized tour of Rome and  its surroundings.  After a short introduction   to the site lead by an archaeologist we will stop to learn watercolor painting techniques through an easy teaching method, useful to fill a small travel sketchbook with suggestive images and notes. Suitable for absolute beginners and self taught painters of every age.   Here some workshop kind:

– One day intensive watercolor workshop lasting 3  morning hours ( including sketchbook and watercolor set) 100 euros per person.  The sites that you can choose for our workshop are the following : the porticus  of  Octaviae – the Orange garden, the clauster of Piazza San Cosimato,-the Borghese gardens,-the Palatine hill,-the Appian Road ;-the Roman Forum- the museum of the Baths of Diocletianus- the museum of Villa Giulia,- Imperial forums, Navona square-  the Pyramid of Caius Caestius  and the acattolic cemetery- the Captolin hill and the Capitoline museums-  the Abbey of the three fountains- the Bocca della verità end the Arch of the Argentarii.-the Gianiculus hill, Hadrian Villa and Villa Gregoriana at Tivoli For more information about prices  and  reservation you can contact pincicarla4@gmail.com
